WINE TAKE OVER with Weingut Odinstal – April 25, 2025

This year’s second Wine Take Over features winemaker Andreas Schumann, who leads the wine production at the renowned Weingut Odinstal.

Odinstal is located in Wachenheim, Pfalz, one of the largest wine regions in Germany. While red sandstone is predominant in Pfalz, Odinstal stands out with its unique volcanic soil, rich in basalt and red clay – a distinctive characteristic reflected in their wines. The winery follows biodynamic practices and produces wines from grape varieties such as Riesling, Sylvaner, Gewürztraminer, and various Pinot types.

Odinstal has long been a staple on the wine list at ROKS. Karin Visth, sommelier and wine director at the restaurant, shares her thoughts:
"When I visited Odinstal, I truly understood the impact that soil and organic viticulture have on the wine. I find that incredibly fascinating!"

A specially curated ROKS menu will be served, paired with five different wines from Weingut Odinstal.

Location: ROKS
Date: April 25, at 18:30
